Employment Agreement

Hours of Work

Hours of work, payment of wages, entitlements including superannuation, annual leave, personal leave, bereavement and family leave are as per the individual agreement between Austructure and the employee based on the type of employment structure offered.

Timesheets

Time sheets are to be completed correctly and signed by the client before emailing to Austructure via payroll@austructure.com.au no later that 9am on Mondays. Time sheets that are not signed will not be paid.

Training

Mutual Support will be available upon consultation and agreement with the employer.

Employees agree to abide by the employer's policies and procedures as specified and at induction.

Termination

The employer may terminate this agreement under the terms and conditions of the award or relevant industrial agreement under which he/she is employed. Redundancy pay is not applicable in the event tat you are engaged under an industrial agreement where monthly contributions are made on your behalf by the employer.

Dismissal

An employee may be dismissed in accordance with the relevant industrial instrument/agreement, award and law. Instant dismissal may occur as a result of conduct which justifies such dismissal and may include the following:

  • Theft of property or money of the company, clients or other staff/employees including fraud.
  • Sexual Harassment
  • Violating fire and safety regulations
  • Falsifying records
  • Activities on or off work sites, discrediting the company, its clients or employees.
  • Unlawful acts and behaviours as and if they arise
  • Reporting unfit for work as a result of drinking alcohol or use of drugs
  • Possessing or drinking alcohol or use of narcotics whilst on duty
  • Gambling on the premises
  • Soliciting or collecting funds, favours or kickbacks
  • Use of inappropriate language or swearing
  • Continuous contravention of the duties outlined.
